Hi, there! I’m Laura, and I’ve been working in podcasting for years.

My experience began with producing my own shows and figuring out what was needed along the way. Eventually, that passion became my profession. Over the years, I’ve worked across many areas of podcasting, from developing business models and growing audiences to building teams and producing episodes.

I’ve been lucky to collaborate on local shows, national chart-toppers, and acclaimed regional audio journalism productions like Radio Ambulante, El hilo, and Entiende tu Mente. In 2023, I took a leap and moved to New York City to attend the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, where I trained to better serve Latin American communities in the U.S. in English and Spanish, across multiple formats. In short: to meet these communities where they are.

Right now, you can find my work at The Moment with Jorge Ramos and Paola Ramos, where I collaborate as Lead Producer. I’m also part of the collective Audio Spice, where we organize sound-centered events for NYC creatives.

I enjoy teaching and public speaking. On Sundays, I run around Brooklyn.
